Available in Japan for sometime now, the Mitsubishi Outlander has always been a real 4WD vehicle. Now, due to economic reasons, Mitsubishi will begin selling a cheaper 2WD only Outlander.
It's also true that nowadays most SUVs like the Outlander rarely experience dirt, and the cost of a 4WD setting with its higher fuel consumption may scare away many potential customers.
Good news is that other versions of our Outlander are available with the ability of seating seven passengers on either a 2.4l 2WD, 4WD, or 3.0l 4WD versions also available with a sportier bodies, the Roadest Package.
