A car expo bas become a synonym for a gathering of concept cars, and Nissan sticks to thos rule and they will present a very interesting SUV that seems to come straight from Mars, the Nissan Terranaut Concept.
Despite the alien looks, it has been designed on Earth, and in Great-Britain to be more precise (some might say that Great-Britain is another planet of this automotive world, but that's a different discussion). This Terranaut (as opposed to astronaut) can look the Hummer straight into its eyes, because it measures 5m in length, and it's 2.1m wide.
Being a terrestrial vessel, this Terraneut needs to have a steering cabin that lives up to that name, like a "Star Trek"-like dashboard, rotating seats, and some might have noticed the sattelite dish on the roof and some sort of surveillance camera at the back. Is this the ultimate arm against car theft designed by Nissan or is this a remake of the Mars Global Surveyor from Nasa?
That this car is a mixture between high-tech and luxury, is also proven by the special Goodyear tires that adapt completely to the terrain they are being used on. They have a variable geometry pressure to adapt fully to their environment.
